| My, it seems we've trouble sleeping, have we?
I would suggest that, rather than write about it, you actually do something. It's much more productive that way, don't you think?
Medical Island should have a supply of sedatives. If the voices really are that much of a trouble, you should be able to drug yourself into sleep.
That is simply my solution for it.

| I am very nearly settled in here. Lezard- you may expect me to return to work as of tomorrow.
One must wonder what happens to the journals of those that have passed- if they remain somewhere, or if they simply vanish. Likewise, I wonder about their belongings. It is merely a bit of curiosity, nothing more. The same, actually, applies for what lies beyond the glass of the sphere. I don't suppose anyone has climbed up there, or flown, perhaps?
Also,I don't suppose anyone might know who the oldest resident of this place is? It would be a great help.

| Lezard, I will not be in to work today. I do not predict that I will be returning tomorrow or the day after. I will let you know when I am able to return.
In other news, I have decided to keep the puppy and name it Klavier. Thank you, Rocket, for checking him over for me. It simply would not do to have a puppy with some sort of disease, after all.
I am still feeling quite a bit feverish, so I think I will return to rest for now.

| It seems I've been successful in securing employment for myself on medical island, and I have moved into my new quarters in section three with little incident other than a small dog that seems determined to make its way into my home.
I've heard there is a ball approaching. I don't suppose there's anyone who is still in need of an escort? I would be more than happy to.

| So, it seems this place has deemed fit to make off with what clothes I had managed to gather for myself. Luckily, it seems that I have managed to be slightly more clothed than some of the residents of this place, but it is still more than slightly disconcerting. Do these things happen often, then?
I should wonder when we will be returning to the tree above. The ants were leaving at last we heard, correct? then it should only be a short matter of time.
Lezard, I believe it is? I would like to schedule an interview at your earliest convenience.

My, I don't suppose that this would be the normal way of things, then? How very troubling. I awoke this morning to find that my bed had changed from the handsome one I had chosen for myself into a pile of what I can only assume to be marshmallows. I should certainly hope that we will be spared such madness when we return to the tree above. To have such events occurring randomly is nothing short of chaos, and I cannot imagine how any society would function among it.
Additionally, I don't suppose that anyone might be able to assist me in finding employment? While I understand that most employers will not be hiring until we "return" to the tree, I would like to start my job search while I have the time. While I cannot be certain of my skills, I can say that the medical interests me.
Oh, but I forget myself. Yesterday I was "hatched", as it were, and I suppose that would make me new around here. My name is "Law". It is truly a pleasure.
